"My wife had a large international conference in her field here in New York and we decided to invite some of her working colleagues for an evening with wine and some Hors D'Oeuvres. As our upper west side apartment is rather small therefore we actually needed to have 2 consecutive evenings for this catering.
Chef Blythe and Lisa were absolute delights. They arrived punctually both nights and brought all needed things with them - including the nice variety of food menu items we had selected. They worked in the kitchen (some of the items were warm items) and made sure that we could focus on the guests (and wine pouring :). They also got special recognition from the highly international group of guests for their great preparation of food. I also appreciate the way all was cleaned afterward and the efficient way of collecting all the necessary things they brought. Being already tired late in the evening, this was very much appreciated. Hint: The lamb and the zucchini fritters got special recognition (the latter including me :). Overall a great experience. Thank you all!"

“We recently had a farewell party for a Senior Director at our company. We had to make the plans in a very short time. I was scrambling to figure out what to do about the catering and started searching the Internet for the closest caterer. However, although Juste Hors D’Oeuvres is in Connecticut, their website was so beautifully presented and their menu too interesting and varied to pass up. The day of the party, I had just about every guest come up to me to ask where I found the caterers!!!! They were so impressed with how efficient Marylyn and Ellen were. As soon as the hors d’oeuvres started to get low, they brought out more and refreshed the presentation of the items. There was more than enough food for all. Each item was beautifully presented and placed to allow the guests to access everything comfortably and easily. I’ve received so many compliments on how wonderful everything tasted, including the pastries … Oh the pastries!!! To Die For!!!! And what an amazing cheese station! I’m not a cheese person, but even I couldn’t help myself. Marylyn and Ellen came early to set-up and helped with the clean-up until the very end! I couldn’t have asked for a better team! Most of our guests took their cards, and I’m confident, Juste Hors D’Oeuvres will be receiving repeat catering orders.
